Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These terms apply when you access or use CVESignal. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
What CVESignal does
CVESignal lets you select products to monitor and receive alerts when we identify a relevant entry in the vulnerability sources we track. It also displays security news from external sources. CVESignal is not a vulnerability scanner, incident-response service, or substitute for your own security processes.
Accounts and organisations
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. If you create or manage an organisation account, you are responsible for making sure its members are authorised to access that organisation’s products and alerts.
Product limits
The Free plan currently allows an organisation to monitor up to five products. Other plan or feature limits shown in CVESignal apply to your account. Do not use multiple accounts or organisations to evade a plan limit.
Alerts and external information
CVESignal relies on public vulnerability data and third-party advisory and news sources. Those sources, product names, version information, and matches can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. We cannot guarantee that every vulnerability will be identified or that every alert will arrive promptly.
Review alerts and source material, confirm whether they apply to your environment, and decide what action to take. You remain responsible for your systems and security decisions.
Acceptable use
Use CVESignal lawfully. Do not attempt to access accounts or systems without permission, disrupt or overload the service, or use it to facilitate harmful activity.
Availability and liability
We work to keep CVESignal available, but the service and its data may change or be unavailable from time to time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service has a major failure, the law may give you rights to cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion or compensation for reduced value, as well as compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss.
Changes
We may update these terms as CVESignal changes. We will post the current version on this page and update the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
